 Description

SimpleBrowserPlus has all the same features as SimpleBrowser, adding the following: The ability to create & edit bookmarks (Can change name, URL, and position in list) Ad-Blocking capability (Custom block lists supported, Hosts format encouraged) Browse in a 4 "tabbed" configuration (Open in new tab context menu) Each "tab" (It's more of a pane) has its own settings, so you can have each tab be set with a specific homepage and user agent string while bookmarks are available across all tabs.

Many settings can be configured in the Settings menu, for example: Home Page, Default Font Size, Text Reflow, Ad-Blocking, and many others! 

CHEAT SHEET (Stand in for instructions temporarily)

The navigation bar can be displayed and hidden with a swipe down on the top bezel. Long press on Forward Arrow/Reload icon will load the saved homepage. Icons in URL bar change to do different functions, you can stop a page from loading there for example. Add bookmarks by browsing to the site, bringing up the menu, and pressing the "+" icon. Modify bookmarks by pressing the pencil icon and then selecting the bookmark to edit. Delete bookmarks by pressing the "-" icon and then selecting the bookmark to delete. Inactive tabs will appear with a red border and can be activated by clicking the icon in the middle of the pane. Active tabs can be closed by selecting the tab and clicking the "X" triangle near the center of the screen. 

Ad-Blocking defaults to weekly updates from an actively maintained list. Ad-Blocking list supports "Hosts" formatted and plain URL only lists in a text file format. If you choose a custom URL, please ensure it's in a plain text format! It will be cached locally and updated weekly. You can use a stored file on your PlayBook as a block list source. Place your block list in the shared folder "misc" and name it "adblocklist.txt". Then use a custom URL of "file:///accounts/1000/shared/misc/adblocklist.txt" This file will be loaded every time the browser is started vs a weekly update.
